Adela's Pioneer Kitchen Fund

AAdela's Pioneer Kitchen Fund will involve the reconstruction of the rear of Athenree Homestead.
The Kitchen, Scullery, Pantry, Bathroom, Entrance, Verandah, Upstairs Bedroom,
and Schoolroom.
Stages in the Project Programme will be:

Complete Drawings and Specification. Obtain Building Consent from WBOPDC.

Obtain prices for the Project.
The work to be carried out by selected tender, or negotiated contractor with extensive heritage
experience. Managed under contract by Heritage Architect, with specialist subtrades and consultants.
Included will be the opportunity for volunteer work, and sponsorship of materials.
(Materials will need to be from approved sources, and be Code Compliant.)

Complete the Building Project. Obtain Code Compliance Certificate from WBOPDC.
Finalise accounts.
It is difficult to estimate a likely time for completion of the Project. Obtaining sufficient finance is
of course essential, and preferably before commencing work. It is possible within nine months.
If staging is considered due to funding difficulties, it could extend the time, and cost, by a
considerable amount.
