Athenree Homestead is a superb venue for that special occasion - a wedding, birthday party, family reunion.
It is set in beautiful grounds with sweeping rural and sea views towards distant Tauranga Harbour. The gardens are cared for by our volunteers and planted in a style that Adela loved.

Weddings

1. We have two sites suitable for marquees, using the front or rear lawns. Either site will accommodate up to 150 guests.

(Please note - Day 1, set up; Day 2, wedding; Day 3, clean-up)

2. The Station Refreshment Rooms where up to 35 guests can be catered for (minimum 15 guests). We also have an attractive marquee where an additional 20 or so guests can be seated.

The Homestead also offers:

Plenty of off road parking
Modern commercial kitchen
Full power on site
Toilet block (with wheelchair access)
Bridal room if required
Wedding photos can be taken on site, or inside the Homestead
Guests can arrange for a guided tour of the Homestead - whilst wedding photographs are being taken.

Special Birthday or Family Reunion

The Station Refreshment Rooms offer a very pleasant venue for that special celebration, using the Station platform with the stunning view as a backdrop. Just let us know your plans - we can accommodate up to 35 people (minimum 15 guests) at the Station and an additional 20 in our attractive white marquee which is available
for hire.

We can provide a lunch or that special afternoon tea.
